Coach Peter Hoogduin embarked on his Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) journey at the age of 15, initiating his studies in his home country, the Netherlands. Following this, he relocated to San Jose, CA in the USA, where he established Wu Fit Studio.
The primary goal of Wu Fit Studio is to offer martial arts training tailored for individuals seeking a non-traditional fitness experience. Unlike conventional practices, Wu Fit Studio aims to enhance physical fitness.
This unique Chinese martial arts-based fitness initiative is designed for individuals aged 40 and above.
The name Wu Fit is a combination of the Chinese term Wu (representing Martial Arts) and the word Fit (indicative of fitness).
The program emphasizes various elements including stretching, strength training, cardiovascular workouts, interval exercises, yoga-inspired kickboxing, and Wushu/Kung Fu techniques
